Bathgate Youth Band
Bathgate Youth Band is more than just a brass band—it’s a vibrant community where music, fun, and friendships come alive! We welcome young people aged 8-16 to discover the joy of brass music, whether you’re a complete beginner or already hitting the high notes. Our band is a place to learn, grow, and shine, all while having an unforgettable time.
Joining Bathgate Youth Band is about so much more than learning to play an instrument. It’s about making friends who share your passion, building confidence through performances, and experiencing the thrill of being part of a team. To help you get started, we even offer instrument loans, so there’s no need to worry about having your own. Whether you’re showcasing your skills in local concerts or competing in national events, you’ll create memories to last a lifetime.
The band meets on a Thursday evening, during school term time, between 5:30 and 6:30, at our band hall.

Bathgate Foundry Band
Bathgate Foundry Band has been established as a lower section band providing a development platform for young musicians who are looking to further their musical careers, as well as for established musicians looking for the opportunity to play without the pressures of the upper section bands.
The Bathgate Foundry name builds on the historical links between Bathgate Band and its heritage, where the band received support from the foundry concerns in the local area.
The band rehearses at the band hall on a Tuesday evening between 6:30 and 8:00 pm.
